For consumers who have praised the design of the Gekko 1500 but found it too large for everyday carry, the new line of Gekko mini folders are the ideal alternative. Designed to excel in the great outdoors as well as common utility tasks, these Italian-made folders are as beautiful as they are functional. The blade locks firmly in place with its reliable lockback mechanism, allowing it to confidently operate under heavy loads. The Gekko 1550 has a green canvas Micarta handle that beautifully offsets the satin blade.
Reliable and able to withstand huge loads, the Lockback mechanism is a distinctive feature of this knife. This folding knife, small enough to be placed in your pocket, was made to go head-to-head with fixed blade outdoor knives.
This knife is equally comfortable in both the right and left hand. The clip blade can be mounted in two different positions and the lock is easy to locate with either hand.
The lanyard hole makes this knife more versatile not only in the field but in everyday use. This is both a practical addition and one that allows owners to express their personal style.

The Steel Will Gekko 1550 was created in response to the huge hit the other Gekkos were. This one is a smaller everyday carry sized knife that I have really grown to love. While the Benchmade Griptilian remains my favorite EDC knife, this Steel Will Gekko is in the Top 5. It's ergonomic, it's strong, and I have had good success with N690Co steel in other knives. Check this out and check out other knives from Steel Will - I think you'll be impressed.
